Check out the vids below from Ibrahim Maalouf, a French-Lebanese trumpeter who often plays on a quarter-tone trumpet, in order to express Arabic-influenced music, which uses a lot of quarter tones. Check out his sweet playing, and an interview in which he explains the horn, how it works, and how the trumpet isn’t usually associated with Arabic musical styles. Check out his discography, but if you’re looking for his quarter-tone stuff, choose carefully, as he doesn’t always use it.
