Nick Vayenas Plays All 6 Parts: Donna Lee

Donna Lee is a bebop tune attributed to Charlie Parker, but there is pretty strong evidence that Miles Davis wrote the song, including the fact that Miles said he wrote it.

Regardless, this arrangement by Nick Vayenas is a great example of multi-tracking. Imagine the practice it takes to get that clean, that in tune, and that expressive, six times in a row. Since 2003, Nick Vayenas has been a long-standing touring band member for Grammy® Award-winning recording artist Michael Bublé. Vayenas has performed on several Bublé recordings, including Crazy Love and the Grammy® Award- winning Michael Bublé Meets Madison Square Garden.
