Trumpet Lessons from James Morrison

If you don’t know who James Morrison is, check him out in the video below playing all the instruments in the big band except drums (played by Jeff Hamilton). Morrison is best known as a trumpeter and trombone player, but his skill is essentially musical and, as you can see, and not limited to a particular instrument.  Morrison’s trumpet solo is at 1:30. Morrison’s ‘bone solo is at 3:00. He’s also a hilarious guy, and a great teacher, as these 8 videos show you.
