Boo! Louis Armstrong: Skeleton in the Closet, 1936

Louis is so amazing, and swings so hard on this Haloweeny clip from the 1936 Bing Crosby film Pennies from Heaven. Clearly he’s also an adept voice-over artist. The recording for the film had to be over-dubbed because the original sound quality wasn’t good enough for the movie. You can tell when he starts playing trumpet and the valves don’t match the sound. But I’m not complaining! Happy Halloween everyone!
