Stravinsky’s “Fanfare for a New Theatre,” played by Friedrich & Bauer

Igor Stravinsky‘s Fanfare for a New Theatre (1964), played by Reinhold Friedrich and Wolfgang Bauer.

Dedicated to Lincoln Kirstein and George Balanchine, this fanfare was composed for the New York State Theater at Lincoln Center, new home of the New York City Ballet.
